www.hamradiofinds.com Hello..This is Mel WA5UTK..Here is a short video showing the Elecraft K-3 being demostrated on 10 meters..The operator was John W5JLR who just recently completed his kit & wanted to show the radio in operation..He was in QSO with Ed N4KNO..I don’t know all the ins & outs of this radio, but it sure looked impressive..

    Nice to see Elecraft doing really well, and garnering high respect in the industry! Love the Jap rigs, but American rigs are great too.

    True that. I wish the K3 had a nice bandscope though. Many Icom Pro series users going to a K3 truly miss that. A bandscope is great during contests or especially during 6m band openings.

    K3 runs rings around the IC-7800, and the others out there..read the reviews by ARRL’s technical lab.

    well regarding parameters it is K3 – ARL laboratory tested
    but if u like christmas shiny thingies ^^ like i do, 756pro will do nicer. i like shiny icom 7800 . I don’t really care about so high level performances since without proper antenna radio won’t do much .
