Beginning the HAM Radio Project. Setting up the MAX-GAIN SYSTEMS Inc, of GA makes the push up mast. I got a deal on it at a HAM FEST. I think I will have to beef up the support on the railing and add 2 more angle iron supports to the rail I have attached the antenna to. There will be a lot of torque on the railing when I have the mast fully extended and have the antenna pullinng at the top of the antenna. I made some tests on the powr supply I got on Ebay. I got lucky and the power supply seems to work OK. I’ll show the Transceiver and the power supply in the next video. I have to wait on the antenna, but am doing as much as I can before I get the antenna. I plan to get a Unadella 80/40 meter trap dipole. It saves space and is reviewed to work very well. I can’t make one of these because I need a Grid-Dip meter and I don’t have one, So I might as well just buy one off the shelf.
